Nava (formerly Nava Bharat Ventures) is a diversified company with interests in ferroalloys manufacturing in India, independent power generation, and a large international energy asset — the Maamba coal mine and integrated 300 MW power plant in Zambia (via Maamba Collieries/Maamba Energy), which has become its dominant profit contributor. It also has commercial agriculture ventures in Africa and healthcare investments. Earnings are driven chiefly by Zambian power offtake receivables and ferroalloy spreads in India.
