What ICICI Bank does

ICICI Bank is India's second-largest private sector bank, offering retail banking (mortgages, personal loans, vehicle loans, cards, deposits), wholesale and SME banking, and treasury operations. Its listed subsidiaries and associates span life insurance (ICICI Prudential Life), general insurance (ICICI Lombard), asset management and broking (ICICI Securities, since delisted into the bank). Revenue is driven by net interest income on a retail-oriented loan book and fee income from cards, liabilities and transaction banking.

It is the second-largest private bank in India by assets and among the most profitable large Indian banks on return metrics.
