What Jio Financial Services does

Jio Financial Services is the financial services arm demerged from Reliance Industries and listed in 2023. It spans retail and merchant lending (Jio Finance), leasing, payments (Jio Payments Bank and Jio Payment Solutions), insurance broking, and a 50:50 asset management joint venture with BlackRock (Jio BlackRock, which launched mutual fund operations in 2025). Revenue today is modest relative to its balance sheet — driven by nascent lending, payments and distribution — with strategy centred on digital-first financial products distributed through the Jio ecosystem.

It is one of India's largest financial services firms by market value and net worth, though its operating businesses are still scaling.
