Tata Power is an integrated power utility spanning thermal and hydro generation (including the Mundra imported-coal UMPP), power distribution serving large consumer bases in Mumbai, Delhi (Tata Power-DDL) and Odisha discoms, and transmission. Its growth engines are renewables — utility solar/wind, one of India's largest solar EPC and rooftop businesses, and cell/module manufacturing at Tirunelveli — plus EV charging networks and smart metering. It also holds coal mining stakes in Indonesia that swing earnings with coal prices.
It is India's largest integrated private-sector power utility.
