Siemens Energy India is the listed energy business demerged from Siemens Ltd in 2025, mirroring the global separation of Siemens Energy from Siemens AG. It supplies power transmission equipment and solutions (transformers, switchgear, HVDC and grid technologies) and power generation equipment and services (turbines, compression) to utilities and industry. It is a direct play on India's transmission-grid capex upcycle and energy-transition investment.
It is one of the top players in Indian power T&D equipment alongside GE Vernova T&D, Hitachi Energy and ABB.
