What Tata Motors does

The commercial vehicles arm of the Tata Motors group, which became a separately listed company after the 2025 demerger of Tata Motors into commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle entities; this entity retained the Tata Motors commercial vehicle business spanning trucks (heavy, intermediate, light), buses and small commercial vehicles such as the Ace. Revenue is driven by domestic CV cycles (freight demand, infrastructure activity, replacement demand) plus exports and spares/services.

India's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer by volume, historically holding the leading share in medium and heavy trucks.
