Bharat Electronics is India's premier defence electronics PSU, manufacturing radars, missile systems electronics, electronic warfare and avionics suites, sonars, communication systems, and electro-optics for the armed forces, which contribute the large majority of revenue. It is the lead integrator on programs like Akash SAM and supplies electronics for LCA, ships and land systems, with a growing non-defence line (EVMs, smart city, medical electronics) and rising exports; its order book spans several years of revenue.
