Piramal Finance is the Piramal group's lending business, formed by merging listed parent Piramal Enterprises into its NBFC subsidiary (Piramal Capital & Housing Finance) to create a single listed lender. The book is increasingly retail-led — affordable housing, secured MSME/LAP, used-car and other consumer loans — alongside a legacy wholesale real-estate and corporate credit book being run down; the retail franchise scaled after acquiring DHFL through insolvency.
It is a large diversified NBFC with a national retail branch network built on the DHFL platform.
