Jindal Steel (formerly Jindal Steel & Power, part of the Naveen Jindal group) is an integrated steel producer with plants at Raigarh and Angul producing plates, coils, rails, structural and other long/flat products, backed by captive iron ore and coal linkages; it divested its power utility arm (Jindal Power) to focus on steel. Revenue is driven by steel volumes from ongoing capacity expansion at Angul toward the ~16 MTPA group ambition, with raw material integration supporting margins.
It is one of India's top four or five steel producers by capacity.
