IRCON International is a government-owned engineering and construction company under the Ministry of Railways, executing railway infrastructure projects — track laying, electrification, bridges, station development — plus highways and other transport EPC work in India and overseas (with a history of projects in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and elsewhere). Revenue is order-book driven, dominated by railway EPC contracts from Indian Railways and government agencies.
It is one of the leading railway-sector PSU construction companies alongside RVNL and RITES.
