NBCC (India) is a government-owned construction and project management consultancy (PMC) enterprise that executes civil construction, redevelopment of government properties (notably large Delhi colony redevelopment projects), and EPC contracts, largely for central ministries and PSUs. The PMC segment — earning fee-based margins on government project execution — dominates revenue; it also has a real estate development arm monetising land parcels. Its order book is driven by nominated government works, including completing stalled projects such as Amrapali housing under court mandate.
It is the Indian government's preferred PMC agency for public building projects, with a large nominated order book.
