RailTel Corporation of India is a state-owned telecom infrastructure and ICT services provider that owns an optic-fibre network laid along Indian Railways' track network. It offers telecom network services (leased lines, MPLS/VPN), managed data-centre and hosting services, and executes ICT/system-integration projects for railways and other government bodies, including station Wi-Fi and railway signalling/telecom modernization work.
It holds a unique right-of-way asset along railway tracks covering most of India's key routes.
