IFCI is a government-owned non-banking financial company and India's oldest development finance institution (est. 1948). Its legacy project-lending book has been largely wound down after severe asset-quality stress, and the company has been repositioned around advisory and government-mandate services; its group holds stakes in entities such as Stock Holding Corporation of India, and a consolidation/restructuring of IFCI group entities has been underway. Revenue today is driven more by advisory, fee income and recoveries than fresh lending.
IFCI Ltd. is a constituent of NIFTY 500, NIFTY SMALLCAP 100, NIFTY SMALLCAP 250. See where it sits on the market heatmap →
