What HBL Engineering does

HBL Engineering (renamed from HBL Power Systems in 2025) manufactures specialised batteries — for defence (submarines, torpedoes, aircraft), railways and industrial standby — and has become a key supplier of railway safety electronics, notably KAVACH train collision avoidance systems and train management systems, which drive its current order book. It also makes electric drive-trains and other defence electronics. The KAVACH national rollout is the company's largest growth vector.

A leading supplier of KAVACH train-protection systems and niche defence batteries in India.
