Aptus Value Housing Finance is a south-India-focused affordable housing finance company lending to self-employed, low-and-middle-income customers in tier 2-4 towns, primarily in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Products are small-ticket home loans, quasi-home loans and small business loans via an NBFC subsidiary, underwritten fully in-house. It is known for high spreads and among the best return ratios in the HFC space; revenue is interest income on its granular mortgage book.
