What V.I.P. Industries does

Luggage and travel accessories maker selling hard and soft luggage, backpacks and handbags under the VIP, Skybags, Aristocrat, Alfa and premium Carlton brands, plus the Caprese ladies' handbag brand. Manufactures in India and Bangladesh with a large distribution network across general trade, modern retail and e-commerce. Revenue is driven by travel demand, wedding/education seasons and the value-vs-premium brand mix; the founding Piramal (DGP) family agreed in 2025 to sell a controlling stake to a Multiples-led consortium.

One of India's largest luggage companies, historically the market leader, now in a close contest with Safari and Samsonite.
