Safari Industries manufactures and sells luggage — hard and soft luggage, backpacks and school bags — under the Safari brand plus value brands, targeting the mass/mid market with in-house hard-luggage manufacturing capacity in India. Growth has come from taking share in the value segment, channel expansion (general trade, e-commerce, hypermarkets) and premiumization attempts (Urban Jungle).
It is India's third major organized luggage player and has gained significant share against VIP Industries.
