Ola Electric Mobility is India's largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer by recent-years volumes, producing the Ola S1 scooter range at its Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu and expanding into electric motorcycles. It is vertically integrating into lithium-ion cell manufacturing (4680 cells at its Gigafactory) with PLI support. The company sells direct-to-consumer through its own network; it remains loss-making with earnings dependent on volume scale-up, cell integration economics and subsidy regimes, and has faced market-share pressure from TVS, Bajaj and Ather along with service-quality scrutiny.
It led India's e-scooter market by registrations after launch, though incumbents TVS and Bajaj have since contested the top position.
