What Indian Oil Corporation does

Indian Oil Corporation is India's largest oil refining and fuel marketing company, operating the biggest refinery network in the country, a nationwide pipeline system, and the largest fuel retail network of petrol pumps, along with LPG distribution (Indane), aviation fuel, lubricants (Servo) and a growing petrochemicals portfolio. Revenue is driven by refined product sales; profitability swings with refining margins (GRMs) and marketing margins on petrol, diesel and LPG, which carry policy/under-recovery risk.

It is India's largest company by revenue among oil marketing companies and controls roughly a third of Indian refining capacity.
