Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys is a fully integrated producer of ferro chrome, with captive chrome ore mines and captive power generation in Odisha. Its output is largely exported, with ferro chrome sold to stainless steel producers, particularly in Asia. Revenue is driven by ferro chrome realisations (linked to stainless steel demand and chrome ore prices) and volumes from its smelting capacity, where mine integration provides a cost advantage.
It is India's largest fully integrated ferro chrome producer.
