Craftsman Automation is a Coimbatore-based precision engineering company whose core business is machining of critical powertrain components — cylinder blocks and heads — for commercial vehicle, tractor and off-highway OEMs. Other segments include aluminium die-cast products (including for two-wheelers, expanded via the DR Axion acquisition) and an industrial engineering business making storage/racking solutions and special-purpose machines. Revenue is driven by domestic CV and tractor cycles plus growing aluminium content per vehicle.
It is a leading independent machining partner for heavy-vehicle powertrains in India.
