What Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals does

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is India's largest private-sector urea producer, operating three gas-based urea plants at Gadepan, Rajasthan. Urea sold under the Uttam brand is the core revenue driver under India's subsidy regime, complemented by trading of imported fertilisers such as DAP and MOP and a portfolio of crop-protection and specialty nutrition products. It is a KK Birla group company.

It is the largest private urea manufacturer in India with a strong marketing footprint across north and central India.
