What MRF does

MRF (Madras Rubber Factory) is India's largest tyre manufacturer, producing tyres for two-wheelers, passenger cars, trucks and buses, farm equipment, off-the-road vehicles and aircraft, along with tubes, conveyor belts, paints and toys (Funskool JV). Replacement-market sales dominate its revenue mix, giving it stronger pricing power than OEM-heavy peers, supported by one of the strongest brands in Indian auto ancillaries. Raw-material costs (natural rubber, crude derivatives) are the key margin swing factor.

It is India's largest tyre maker by revenue and is also known for having the highest per-share price on Indian bourses.
