What Dixon Technologies (India) does

Dixon Technologies is India's largest home-grown electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, assembling mobile phones (for brands such as Motorola, Xiaomi and Samsung ecosystem partners), LED TVs, washing machines, lighting, wearables, telecom gear and IT hardware on an ODM/OEM basis. It is a prime beneficiary of the smartphone PLI scheme, with mobiles now the dominant revenue driver, and is moving into components (display modules, camera modules, precision parts) to deepen margins. The model is high-volume, thin-margin contract manufacturing where return on capital, not gross margin, is the key metric.

It is the largest listed Indian EMS player by revenue and a flagship of the electronics make-in-India push.
