What Berger Paints India does

Berger Paints India is the country's second-largest decorative paints company, selling interior and exterior wall paints, wood finishes and waterproofing under brands like Berger Silk, WeatherCoat and Easy Clean, with a strong franchise in East India. It also runs industrial coatings businesses (protective coatings, automotive via a JV with Nippon-related partners, powder coatings) and international operations in Nepal, Poland and Russia. Demand tracks housing/repainting cycles and margins track crude-linked monomer and TiO2 costs, with competitive intensity elevated since Birla Opus's entry.

India's second-largest paint company by revenue after Asian Paints.
