What ITC does

ITC is a diversified conglomerate with segments spanning cigarettes (Gold Flake, Classic, Wills — the dominant profit driver), FMCG-others (Aashirvaad atta, Sunfeast biscuits, Bingo snacks, Yippee noodles, Savlon, personal care), paperboards and packaging, agri-business (leaf tobacco, wheat, commodity trading), and IT services via ITC Infotech. Its hotels business was demerged into separately listed ITC Hotels in early 2025. Revenue is led by cigarettes and the scaled non-cigarette FMCG portfolio.

It commands roughly three-quarters of India's legal cigarette market and is one of India's largest FMCG companies by consumer spend.
