Hemisphere Properties India is a government-controlled land-holding company created to house the surplus land parcels demerged from Tata Communications (erstwhile VSNL) as part of its disinvestment arrangement. Its business is essentially the monetisation and development of these large land banks in cities such as Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Kolkata; it has minimal operating revenue pending land monetisation.
