EPL Ltd (formerly Essel Propack) is the world's largest manufacturer of laminated plastic tubes, best known for toothpaste tubes — it supplies most global oral-care majors — and is expanding in higher-margin beauty & cosmetics and pharma tube packaging. It operates plants across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia, giving it a genuinely global footprint; private equity firm Blackstone acquired control from the Essel group in 2019. Revenue is driven by oral-care tube volumes and the mix shift toward personal-care categories, along with recyclable-tube (Platina) adoption.
It is the global market leader in laminated tubes with roughly a third of the world oral-care tube market.
