Deepak Nitrite is a Vadodara-based chemicals company spanning basic intermediates (nitrites, nitro toluenes, fuel additives), performance products (optical brightening agents) and phenolics — via subsidiary Deepak Phenolics it is India's largest producer of phenol and acetone, with downstream IPA. It supplies dyes, pharma, agrochemical, laminates and paints value chains, substituting imports in several products. Earnings swing with phenol-acetone spreads and intermediate demand; ongoing capex extends into advanced intermediates and downstream phenol derivatives.
It holds a dominant domestic share in phenol and acetone and is a top global producer of sodium nitrite and para-nitrotoluene.
