Cyient is a Hyderabad-based engineering research and development (ER&D) services company serving aerospace and defence, transportation, energy, communications and medical devices clients with design, geospatial, embedded and digital engineering services. Its subsidiary Cyient DLM, separately listed, provides electronics manufacturing services for aerospace/defence and medical customers. Revenue is driven by outsourced engineering budgets of global OEMs, with aerospace as its historical anchor vertical; it has also announced a dedicated semiconductor subsidiary.
It is one of India's top pure-play ER&D services firms alongside LTTS, Tata Elxsi and KPIT.
