What Chalet Hotels does

Chalet Hotels, part of the K Raheja Corp group, is an owner-developer-operator of high-end hotels in metro cities, with properties run under Marriott International brands such as JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar and The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. Revenue comes primarily from room, food-and-beverage and banqueting income at its owned hotels, supplemented by an annuity stream from commercial office assets it develops adjacent to its hotels. The model is asset-heavy: Chalet owns the real estate and outsources brand and management to global operators.

It is one of India's larger listed owners of branded upscale hotel rooms, concentrated in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune.
