AWL Agri Business, formerly Adani Wilmar, is one of India's largest edible oil and packaged food companies, best known for the Fortune brand spanning soyabean, sunflower, mustard and palm oils, besan, wheat flour, rice, sugar and ready-to-cook products. It operates large port-based refining capacity and also sells industry essentials such as oleochemicals and castor oil derivatives. The company was renamed after the Adani Group agreed to exit and Wilmar International moved to take control; edible oil refining margins and palm/soy price cycles are the key earnings drivers.
India's largest edible oil company by branded volumes, with Fortune the top cooking-oil brand.
